Completed Cleveland GP training scheme in 1999 following General Medical postgraduate training in South Tees Hospitals. Particular areas of interest include musculoskeletal problems, child health and child protection and teaching of medical students.
Dr Allison Armitage

 Having qualified in Newcastle in 1988, I did all my hospital and GP training in Airedale, West Yorkshire. I then returned to the North East to be a GP partner in 1993.

I am very much a generalist and believe in the holistic approach of treating the person as a whole and not just the disease. I enjoy giving personalised care to individuals and their families over a long period of time.

Trained in Leeds and qualified in 2001. Completed Leeds GP training scheme in 2005. Special interests in women's health and contraception and fits contracetive coils and implants. GP trainer supervising doctors doing GP specialist training, and GP tutor and appraiser.

Having qualified from Newcastle in 2000, I worked for a year in Australia before completing my GP training in Leeds. I moved back to the North East in 2013. My areas of interest include sexual health, family planning including fitting coils and implants, women's health and breastfeeding support.
