Autumn Flu and COVID campaign

The practice will be commencing the 2025 Winter vaccination campaign. We have ordered a vaccine for all who are eligible and clinics will be available from 1st October 2025

We will be texting as many of you as possible to see if you wish to have the Flu vaccination and (if you are eligible) COVID vaccination. Please use the options on the text to inform us of your choice.

Eligibility for COVID

• Adults aged 75 years and over
• Residents in care homes for older adults
• Immunosuppressed aged 6 months and over

!! Please note that those under the age of 75 and in a clinical at risk group are NOT eligible for vaccination, which is different to previous winter campaigns.!!

Eligibility for Influenza

Adults aged 65 and over

• Patients aged 6 months to <65 with certain long-term health conditions.
• Pregnant women.
• Those in long-stay residential care homes.
• Carers who receive Carer’s Allowance or care for an older or disabled person.
• Household contacts of someone with a weakened immune system.
• Patients aged 2 and 3 years on 31 August 2025
• eligible school-aged children (Reception to Year 11) **Delivered by School Nursing**
