I qualified as Nurse in 2004 after completing my training in Leeds. My first role was working in acute medicine and surgical admissions. I then developed an interest in Respiratory care so undertook extra qualifications to assess treat in field. I then began working as a Respiratory Specialist Nurse gaining prescribing qualifications. My areas of specialist interest are in Asthma, COPD and Oxygen therapy. I then obtained qualifications as a Nurse practitioner and worked as Community Matron specialising in Long term health conditions and palliative care. I came to the Garth surgery in 2019.
